Really? What a laugh. They know more about drugs than nutrition. Hell, my doctor told me to take more calcium so buy some Rolaids! That will work! Now I like this Doctor. He's not an evil guy, nor is he out to kill us all! Just like my ex family member. They are both great intelligent people. But they are helping the beast whether they believe the hype or are fully aware that it's a temporary fix. 5 million dollars a year to make something that is making people feel better... Or is it 5 million dollars a year to make something that is making people feel better but not curing them so I can still make 5 million dollars every year. I don't believe anyone would admit to that... The legal implications are pretty big. I'm not saying the drugs don't do what they do and are not modern medical genius. But they are as well miss applied as we can use something safer, more productive, less taxing on our... Taxes! Promote full healthy organic plants, and use vitamins and minerals that our body needs to fight off everything INCLUDING CANCER. Cancer needs toxins to grow - so remove the toxin. Adding Chemo AKA Toxin is not the answer.

It's so simple it's almost unbelievable.

You are saying people shouldn't take vaccines, which, according to all legitimate evidence, prevent disease, and also saying "they are not trying to prevent disease".

Which way is it?

And what about warnings on packs of cigarettes, stem cell research, the Canada Food guide and the vitamin aisle at the pharmacy that sells all the "toxins" that are slowly killing us? Isn't that all "prevention"?

Nobody is stopping anyone from eating well and getting all the vitamins and minerals they could possibly need. A healthy diet and lifestyle is promoted relentlessly by both the medical establishment and the government.

Your lack of scientific knowledge is laughable. "Cancer needs toxins to grow"...this is such a primitive view of cancer, and science in general. Cancer occurs secondary to mutations in the genetic code which can sometimes be secondary to toxins (see Chernobyl). However, how do you explain the strong genetic component of some cancers (ie. breast cancer, prostate cancer, colon cancer, etc, etc)? Are these also simply due to toxins?

As for doctor's treating only symptoms and not the underlying cause. I find this truly insulting. Have you ever read a medical textbook? Have you ever practiced medicine/worked in the medical field? For example, say a child comes in with ear pain, fever, decreased appetite, dehydration and is diagnosed with an inner ear infection. Would any MD simply advise tylenol for the fever and pain and give an IV for hydration and nutrition? Absolutely NOT! Shockingly, they will treat the underlying cause...ear infection. As for preventing ear infections, if you can find a way to alter the anatomy of toddlers to prevent them, I'd be happy to hear your advice.

Read any medical textbook, and you will see that the first treatment for pretty much any symptom is to, wait for it....treat the underlying cause.

Actually, the cause of ear infections in this age group is the anatomy of the Eustachian tube, not nutrition. I used the ear infection as an example as it's a common condition that everyone could relate to. Like I said, look at any medical textbook, it all comes back to treat the underlying cause...not keep them coming back for more. As for nutrition and lifestyle, come to any medical school lecture and you will see that medical schools teach that nutrition/lifestyle account for approximately 75% of disease...medicine is required to treat the other 25%.

Also, what alien substance do you speak of? Do you mean the bacteria that live on your skin...even in healthy well nourished children? These same bacteria cause the infection. Do you propose getting rid of these bacteria, as that would only lead to inner ear fungal infections.

The fact you argue this point cracks me up... But what ever. Take your family to the "Gas Station" for their" fill up". Take them back when they are empty. And keep them connected to the pusher. Teach them that Doctor knows best. And the Doctor will continue to be taught by Pharmaceutical companies through Colleges and Universities... Whom get there grants from.... Pharmaceutical companies...

I will take my family or future family to the garden. Tech them how to grow and nurture. Show them that vitamins and minerals at saturation points are more powerful then and "drug". And while their brains are developing fully because they have everything they need other families allowing third parties to pollute their bodies with toxic foods like MacDonalds or Doritos's . While the chemicals in those foods leach out the NECESSARY BUILDING BLOCKS that you and your family need to grow healthy.

If governments really cared about your nutrition we wouldn't have toxic flavor enhancers like MSG. We would not have toxic artificial sweeteners like aspartame. And so on. But you believe (Or seem to believe) that money is not the issue. That these toxic substances do not affect you. It is not my job to look after your family and it seems we are both happy about that.

Anyway, I've started my own garden. I'm pretty stoked about it. I'm starting to bring my body to saturation points with vitamins... I'm pretty stoked about it.

And I wish you the best of luck and you listen to the TRILLION DOLLAR A YEAR companies tell you how their products will slow down the cancer that you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting. But they can't cure you of it. Even though they just made a TRILLION dollars so in effect they could really hire more people than Calgary has population to research cancer and destroy it.... Believe them. The cure is just months away. "sigh"

The great thing is I'm not writing this for or to you. I'm writing this so that ONE person who is directly affected with cancer. Who has been lied to, and trusted the wrong experts. Who may just be dying of this disease called cancer. That person can find his or her answer. And when he or she does they can send me a PM saying, "Thank you Tower." I will then sleep even better than I already am. I'll feel just as stoked, and then I'll do it again so I can help that next one man or woman. And slowly more people will get it. Low and behold the next year polio decreased and the MEDICAL MIGHT then became MEDICAL gods that you know and love! Also at this time better sewers and cleaner water was introduced accross NA...
