Not sure about those specific ones, but Sherbrooke is pretty good.

Sherbrooke is the best in Edmonton.

Campbell is probably the best in St. Albert.

You'll find this beer at both locations.

Just had a growler of India Black Ale from Village Brewery in Calgary!
Delicious 64 ounces of beer.

Yeah something like 900 different types of beer?

The Granville Isle. one you should find at most liquor stores I would think. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

Absolutely the most disgusting beer I have ever tried. Tastes like someone puked up a pizza into the beer before they bottled it.

When I was a flight attendant, one of my favorite layovers was actually in Hamilton just because they had a pub that served this beer. I have searched high and low in Calgary but have yet to find it. It's pretty amazing though.

Karlovačko was my favourite beer in Croatia of all the usual suspects. I've seen Ožujsko in several liquor stores around town in cans.

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago. It tastes like oregano water.

Ok Fellas, time to resuscitate this thread. There are a great many beer drinkers on this board, and probably a good portion of those beer drinkers would classify themselves as connosieurs. Let's liven this baby up.

I just went down to the ol' beer store and picked up the following. It's a Sunday afternoon and I did my chores yesterday, but most importantly, the wife is gone all day leaving me free to cook, watch hockey, and drink more beer than I would otherwise be able to drink without guilt.

I picked up and am currently drinking:

Phillips' Beer's Amnesiac Double IPA

There will be companion posts throughout the day/evening as I continue to watch hockey, I encourage all of you to go out and get a beer you wouldn't normally get and post in this thread about it.

This Amnesiac is like a POW right to the kisser of flavour on initial intake. Real citrus aroma to the brew, but the aroma doesn't prepare you for the smack in the mouth you get. Strong beer but very drinkable. Right now, I'm munching away on a spicy curry I made and this beer is doing the trick.

Really refreshing on the palate, thin carbonation, but not a watery beer.

A+ Would drink again!

Sounds delicious. With the curry too! I'm going to have some curry for supper and think about how a nice IPA would taste along with it
