I liked it too, but overall have had enough of the Jim and Pam love in. Every episode I'm reminded of how perfect of a couple they are. It's gotten to the point where I wish ill-will on them.
I don't like the Barney/Robin romance at all, it seems so forced. And did last week's episode bug anyone else when Ted was teaching Barney about getting out of a fight with Robin by discussing the 2004 Division winning Vancouver Canucks? Plucky underdogs, my butt!

What I don't get about the Robyn character is that she acts/talks like a Maritime Canadian but she is from Western Canada.
The show is awesome! The whole Monday night line up is great.
A new show I like is Modern Family on Wednesdays.

Just wanted to bump this thread because the last few episodes have been complete gold. The superbowl one with Barney's phone and the perfect week were absolute gold. Marshal and Lilly using the same toothbrush and tonight Barney not being able to take a bad picture. This show is so classic
They have been good. I love the show, have since it came out.
Something has been pissing me off for a while though...
Tonight it was said that Barney couldn't take a bad picture and even showed a childhood photo of him wearing a button-up shirt and holding it as if he is adjusting his tie, just as he does today.
There was also an episode a while back where he had a childhood rival that "changed Barney's life" and made barney feel like he had to sleep with 200 women in order to feel adequate.
Then there was the episode where Barney's ex came into play through an old tape of barney. Barney was a hippie and was going to join the peace corps with this girl until he found out that the girl was cheating on him with a suit wearing womanizer and that is how Barney decided to become a suit wearing womanizer himself.
So what is it, childhood rivalry causing him to sleep with many women?
Or becoming heartbroken and changing his ways to sleep with many women?
Last nights episode was good, I liked how they played up the angle of Ted as a complete tool. Too bad they had to do the big switch at the end and have everyone love him again.
As for Barney's storyline, loved it. I wish they didn't have the last picture turn out bad, would have been better had he still been in his perfect pose. Kind of like the Simpsons gag with Sideshow Mel and the rakes, it just got better as it kept going.

I think its all a lie and we'll find out that neither of those stories is true.
This show rocks.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
I think this season has gotten off to a better start. The last 2 seasons have been going kind of downhill for me. But Monday's episode was pretty good. I still think overall it's getting a bit stale though, and that they'll need to reveal the mother soon. Most shows jump the shark by the time they hit the 5th or 6th season, and HIMYM is no exception IMO. Now it's about going out on a high note (like Lost) rather than dying because of mediocrity (like Friends, or That 70's Show).

++ about ending it ASAP.
Though I get the feeling they'll milk this one until there's nobody left watching.
