You can still be on the team if you have to work that ONE night, this is just an info meeting for people who have said they are interested. I just need to collect some fees and we'll have to discuss what we want to do (ie/ uniforms, etc). No biggie if you can't make it, we'll arrange some other method for deposit.

I'll be down for a meeting around that time. Hopefully I'll have some info about the league I'm hoping we join. I heard a little bad news from a fellow poster who is in the know, but I'm still hoping for the best.

Been a long time since anyone updated this one.
Anyone interested in still meeting?
Troutman and I will be at Pete's Peanuts Pub tonight for the Flames game.
(that's the one west of Westhills)

We could talk some slopitch. I assume he'll be in Flames white (road game) to be distinctive I will wear Omaha Flames jersey.

good call on bumoing thread. i think we should try to set something up. i cant make it tonight as I have obedience classes for the dog, but a meeting is a great idea.

No, usually at this place there are 2-3 tables with Flames be-decked patrons. Just trying to narrow down a search before someone yells, "The Sky Is Blue..."

Hey guys and gals,

Sorry, I have been very busy with school and work this term, so if someone could kind of take over and start to get us organised and into a league that'd be awesome. I have not had time to look into anything!

I can help out, and don't mind being in charge of organising and everything, but right now is a terrible time. When school is done I can be the numero-uno but right now I can barely keep my head above water!

So reply to this thread if you can take the lead on this one, and I'll owe you.

Haha. I've got to drop out of the organizational capacity myself... A new opportunity has landed on my plate and I'm eating it up. Now I'm actually busy for the better part of the day. I don't even know if I can commit to being a player, let alone an organizer.
I'm a little jaded as well. Tonight only 3 people showed up for dodgeball.
But... If someone organizes a team, I'll pay my share and also purchase a bat that can be team property for the season and stored at my house in the winter. And I still have at least two girls that will join as well, should CP not provide enough.
