I agree- alone- the Middle East doesn't stand a chance, but united with an economic giant they do. And I don't think it's so that they can push their religious agenda on western countries but rather to take over, destroy and occupy Israel alone. An action that surely would introduce western countries into a war don't you think?

Isn't that a plausible situation?
I really can't see any "BRIC" country siding with Iran or anyone else in a war against the Yanks anytime soon. A nation that sides against the Americans (which also means siding against "the west") would go from economic giant right back to the 3rd world in about 2 weeks, and will probably take a beating for their trouble.

No country in our lifetime is going to have a trade relationship with a "Rogue Nation" that supersedes their trade relationship with everyone else in the world. Iran is never going to be more important to the Chinese than America is.

what i find interesting aboot the chinese is that they do not have any set policy regarding relations with any nation.

their top generals nearly monthly discuss invading taiwan and blasting america's surface fleet, and their top industry leaders / bureaucrats will at the same time be welcoming american investment / markets.

america is clearly the world's rogue nation, when you ask the world.

china and iran have HUGE energy deals. what china lacks is conventional forces projection, ie. aircraft carriers. if they had them, or if they had major corporate interests outside their immediate sphere, you can bet they'd be in the straights of hormuz guaranteeing supply.

ie. if husky energy had major stuff in iran then you'd see chinese troops there, if they were worried aboot the tap getting shut off. if canada was unstable or being threatened by america i would bet china would do something here to protect their interests, if they saw the world the way america does.

china is not america.

Yeah because every single one of those comments directed personal insults at certain people.

EDIT: Also, while I might call Looger's CT crazy, I still find them interesting. I think all conspiracy theories are BS, but I still read about them.

The 'prick' comment was directed towards a poster who finds agreeing with him 'lame.'

Given that what you are suggesting is the mainstream belief, no it is not a conspiracy.

Why didn't Bush plant WMD in Iraq?

A conspiracy is not a fantasy. A conspiracy is when a group of people get together, secretly, to plot an event that works to their benefit. The men who perpetrated the 9/11 attacks were definitely 'conspirators', whether you believe it was Bin Laden or Bush.

1.the act of conspiring. 2.an evil, unlawful, treacherous, or surreptitious plan formulated in secret by two or more persons; plot. 3.a combination of persons for a secret, unlawful, or evil purpose: He joined the conspiracy to overthrow the government. 4.Law. an agreement by two or more persons to commit a crime, fraud, or other wrongful act. 5.any concurrence in action; combination in bringing about a given result.

Looks like 9/11 was a conspiracy no matter what you believe... but thats only if you value the actual meaning of a word, rather than your own personal interpretation of it.
