So you are suggesting that he got himself sooo worked up that he went numb?? Wow. And where was this amazing stressful reaction that would have resulted in him shutting down, I guess I missed that.
I am sure you could find any number of doctors that would have divergent opinions on this. What I do know is that my son certainly didnt suffer any ill effects from having this done. He certainly did not go into shock.
Wow.

Hilarious.
Who's opinion is more valid - someone spouting their BS on the internet or a doctor? I know who I think is right...
:-/
And please tell me your vast medical knowledge that proves you absolutely know your son didn't go into shock. Watch the damn video and you'll see the baby in it looks like it's falling asleep. Guess you missed that part, huh?
Don't bother responding until you find all those doctor's with "divergent opinions".

I agree 100% with Mike Oxlong's post...
File me under helmet. And glad. I can't say that I know what it's like to have a toque, so I understand why the toques think the helmets are missing sensation... But I think it's being grossly exaggerated that 30% of sensation is missing from my sex life. If I'm missing 30%, well... Oxlong said it pretty well.
Any boy of mine will get the snip. Chicks dig it.
This is my rifle, that is my gun...
This is for work and that is for fun.
What movie was that?

why do chicks dig it? My best friend has a toque, like me and he has to be the biggest player out there. Never once effected his sex life. Same goes for me.

I'm not sure where I stand on this issue but I do know that having a foreskin adds countless tricks to your puppetry of the penis repertoire (for example the slowly emerging mollusk).
Also, for those of you that were circumcised but feel the need to have a foreskin there are ways to "regrow" it .

I didn't bother with the explicit video.
I get a charge out of those of you who are so militant on both sides of the issue. How could you possibly know what it's like on the other side of the fence? Wookie, I think, indicated that he needed to be clipped later in life. Conversely, my cousin suffered terrible problems due to circumcision. I think both issues are relatively rare.
I was told by an older woman many years ago that she preferred the "anteater" look because unchopped guys are more fastidious about hygiene.
Hate to be crude, but don't they all look the same when they're ready for action?

Agreed.
As for what chicks dig it? Well, throughout university this is actually a far more common topic over drinks than it should be, and I never once heard a girl say that she prefers the non-cut (as for her saying she prefers it b/c anteaters are cleaner?? Come on. That correlation is a little loose)
And as for the sensation. Don't agree. I bet our sensation is different, as ours changes. But I do not need any more sensation.
And hell, I don't care to be a judge, but I like the look.

On what basis do you disagree? Seems to make sense that because your sensitive parts are 'unprotected' from rubbing against... everything, the sensitivity is bound to be reduced by decades of constant exposure. I can't see any way this is a good thing, unless one has severe issues with controlling their climax due to over-sensitivity.

This 'girls preference' argument seems ######ed. Once you're at that point has anyone here actually had a girl look at their un/circumcised penis and that broke the deal? Did she say 'eewwww'? I've found women to be totally eager to please despite my disgustingly 'natural' look.
I don't get how a 'natural' man's penis looks worse than a cut one. Since when did the penis become an organ that could be 'sexy'? They're gross, no matter which way you cut it. No woman is having her breath taken away by the beauty of your tool. Its an ugly little stick, circumcision isn't changing a thing. Besides, when you're ready for action, they all basically look the same. I think cosmetic arguments pale in comparison to the potential loss of sensation.

Wow you sure sound like you are taking this personally. Though you probably feel I am too.
I am not, I am merely citing my experience that does not match up with a "professional" program like Bull****. If you want to take that as gospel, be my guest.
I know what we experienced and that is what is really important.

1. I guess I should say I somewhat agree. While our tip is likely less sensitive, the rest of it may become more sensitive to make up for the lack. And really, I don't need the tip to be any more sensitive anyway, really.
2. Well as I suggested, my unformal poll has never resulted in one vote for turtlenecks. As well, as Firefly suggested, a girl may be quicker to please a toque. Of course this wouldn't break off a deal, but if it results in a little more praise and adoration of the little-guy, then hey, power to the snip!

How so? Is there any reasoning behind this?

If a girl is basing _any_ part of her opinion on you as a person because of your circumcised nature, then she sounds really, really shallow... and wierd. I couldn't imagine a girl not dating a guy because he was one way or the other. Inconceivable.

1. Okay, yes, it is a totally offbeat theory that I invented on the spot. I will give you it. Anyway the sensitive area in question is the head, and as I mentioned I would rather not have any more sensitivity there and moreso, that is just a one of the players in the larger dance in the sheets.
2. This is what I said. It would not break a deal. But, if havin' the boy be trimmed means the potential for more adoration and attention in that area - as my informal poll has told me - then I am all for it.
3. Turtleneck? Who the hell wears turtlenecks anyway??????

i find it interesting that both the Jews and Muslims are for getting cut. These people cannot agree on anything except let's lop off our foreskin. Maybe they should negotiate with their pants off as a sort of an ice breaker.

If I have a son he will not be circumcised. There just doesn't seem to be any compelling reason for it to be done. The only reason I've ever really heard that makes some sort of sense is that if it needs to be done later in life the pain will be a lot more memorable. However, the statisitics I've seen is that only somewhere between 1 in 200 and 1 in 600 will "need" it later in life. The odds are not great a person will need to have it done later in life and go through that pain. It's a guarantee that a circumsized baby goes through a good amount of pain and discomfirt during the procedure and in recovery.
Also, from what I've read the "need" it in later life pile is chalk full of examples of kids who actually didn't need it done but instead had a practitioner that used the overkill method of treatment. Or of parents who tried to retract a kids foreskin and ended up tearing it...(sometimes repeatedly). Remember a kids foreskin will not fully retract in some case until 4-5 years of age and one should never ever try to retract it or it will tear.
