Sad game all around. Maybe a couple decent scoring chances, but far more passing to no one and easy shots to the middle of someone’s chest.
Most Flames players should be embarrassed by this effort. Nobody showed anything to make this team tonight.

Well, at least both McDavid and Draisaitl are completely invisible. It's almost as though they're already gone.
I really like the bottom 6 this year, and IMO they're going to win the Flames some games. Also Prosvetov > Cooley after game 1.

More often than not the teams playing a bunch of no names win because the vets are going 50% and the no names are trying to win a job.

Vets looked good. But forwards barely played.
Parekh looked very intriguing. No one else like him in the organization. My only concern is he is small. Might wear out or get smoked by bigger forwards
None of the young forwards did anything. Doubt any of them make the big club.
Cooley probably didn’t do himself any favours
Cicek probably did though
