Hellebuyck's playoff vs regular season numbers for the last three years are not pretty.
I ran a Roy vs Brodeur comparison a couple years ago and posted it here, but the summary was that Roy's numbers were noticably better in the playoffs -- while Brodeur's were the same... meaning Roy elevated his game, while Brodeur stayed the same. (Further evidenced by Roy's 3x Conn Smythe wins in 4 Cups to Brodeur's 0x wins in 3 Cups.)
It might be time to add Hellebuyck as the example of a goalie who noticably plays worse in the playoffs.
