Wild are 18-14-2 without Kaprizov in the lineup with no time line for him to return. The Wild believe Buium could join the team when his season is done.
Right now they're also missing Erikson-Ek who's also pretty crucial to them as he does the heavy lifting for matchups. 9 points in their last 10 and 29 in their past 31. They've been slumping consistently for over 30 games now.

Referring back to my earlier comment, I think Kadri would EASILY be the 1C on the current Kraken roster. That's intended as recognition of Kadri's talent and accomplishments but also an admonishment of the current talent level of current Kraken forwards. Basically, while Kadri would be a top 6 forward on most teams ON THIS KRAKEN TEAM he'd be cream of the crop.
Ditto Huberdeau and Coronato. Once you start getting to Zary and Frost it feels like it starts to level out with the current group of Kraken.

Our game against Utah is a big one too. But I agree.
12 games left. I think at a minimum they have to win 7. 8 probably guarantees a spot in the dance.
8 wins gets them 95 points.
STL would have to get 11pts or worse in their final 9. At their run they’re on, that feels unlikely.
Minny would have to get 9 or less in their final 10. Feels unlikely as well.
I don’t think 8 wins is gonna do it. It might. But it’ll be tight. If Minny slips some more here, the game between CGY and Minnesota is beyond massive.
If we could just swap out Sharangovich for Backlund for the next few games and keep the rest the same I think we have a good shot against Dallas and Edm. It's just not Sharky's year and that's ok. But I would even take Hunt over him in the lineup at the moment.
