Two different teams and circumstances. Also we don't have a Sam Bennett, Sam Reinhart or a Sasha Barkov on this team

When management starts listening to fans in the stands, they’ll soon be sitting with them.

No one ever lol.
Other than pure not scoring numbers and place in the standings. That was the only comparison.
Flames might have the Quick or Doughty, but there's nothing here resembling Anze Kopitar, Dustin Brown, Jeff Carter, Mike Richards, Justin Williams and Jarret Stoll.

How about start with this intensity instead of waiting 35 minutes and down 2 goals?
Don't want to point at the coach, but they're showing they had this level of energy in them...
I'm alright with losing when the hustle is there.

I think we do have team speed.
So why not play the Avs fast up and down?
We have a good goalie. And they are getting shots anyway.
The current system doesn’t work.

Huberdeau was a really good player.
Unfortunately, he is not the same guy. But he's playing pretty good this year under this coach.

Huska's coaching has not been great. The team also does not have the talent up front you need to win. Two things can be true at once

We can't even score on breakaways. I don't think the system would matter much.

He was never a driver, even in Florida. His stats got bloated by flash in a pan season and before that by offensive systems where defense was optional.

Doesn't sound like me. I'm not a fan of losing goal scoring talent. If I did it was probably because the initial narrative out there was he didn't want to stay.
But later it was revealed that he did, but Conroy wasn't interested in his terms (likely contract length).
Yes, hindsight is 20/20. Most people probably didn't think his regression would be as gentle as it has been.

They need to run the goalie and line brawl

If Dissentower was coaching we would probably be leading the Pacific with this stacked roster.

Without Wolf this team is bottom 5 in the standings.
Flames are close to the bottom of the league in GF, PPG, etc etc.
But sure it’s Huska who has us where we are.
And its you’re not your.

The secondary reasons , next to Wolf, that the Flames are still in the playoff fight…
is their work ethic, effort and battle component.
Energy??? Intensity?
The very least of their problems!

What's embarrassing is not knowing that you can compare 2 things without directly calling them identical.
An orange and a baseball can be compared in the fact that they're round, doesn't mean I'd tell you that you should eat a baseball

Haves versus have nots. The Flames are trying with a real depleted roster. Good effort against a powerhouse.

There is no comeback tonight.
Will the Flames even get as many shots on goal as the Avs score in the 3rd? That's a more realistic question.
