I think Ferrari is going to be a lot stronger. This 8-10 finish would have been their second worst result last year by a wide margin (after double DNF in Canada). They scored 10+ points in every other grand prix, and they finished the strongest of all.

WCC points Last 6/12 races of 2024:
211 / 350 FER
150 / 371 McLaren
139 / 247 MERC
114 / 216 RBR

Ferrari also started last year strong, just 24 pts behind RBR after 8 races, but then had a weak stretch of 4 races starting in Canada.

It looks like losing their chief strategist Carlos Sainz is probably going to be the biggest issue of all.

1.2 races in and Lawson can't handle the RBR. I'm sure he will get 5 races but it's become apparent that Max is the only guy who can drive that thing and even he has a hard time wrangling it.
