Not the same group of people who left Jarome off the NHL100 list, but people who are in the same circle.

Is this directly racism? No, very doubtful. But there's definitely a whiff of the stuff around hockey in general.

Insane that some people's thoughts went straight to racism...one guy had a season ending shoulder injury and the other has now been invited to camp.

I don't think its racism. I think its' just bias. The Flames have a small fan base relative to the Oilers, Leafs, Habs, Canucks. Many people who work in the NHL media will have biases against the Flames, Sens and Jets because they are biased towards their favourite teams. I think many people who work at Sportsnet are Oilers fans and many of the decision makers were 80's Oiler fanboys.

Canada vs Switzerland to open the pre-tournament tonight at 5pm on TSN4. Watch Dave Cameron get outcoached by a euro.

I think my personal form of protest for this roster selection will be not watching the pre-tournament. That's probably the best I can do lol, unlike some I can't just not root for Canada!

Molendyk with an A. You guys got to watch him. Beautiful skater. At nine he was unreal. Alberta winter games was when I realized my kid was done at hockey when he was paired with tanner. He was on another level (depressingly so) but never played selfish. Could have had five goals a game but didn’t.

Canada struggling offensively, powerplay looks like a Flames Cameron PP.
Go figure…
Sure wonder what 4 offensively gifted players might have added.

Leading point per game forward in the entire CHL didn't even make the team, and leading scorer in the CHL isn't even on PP1

Genius stuff really

Looks like Canada doesn't have enough scoring.

Cameron has a really bad case of “smartest man in the room” syndrome.
Guy actually think he’s a gift to the hockey world, never met someone so arrogant.

Pretty ok game tonight. Didn’t generate much beyond the first line and McKenna as expected, hopefully that’s enough for a gold.

Gibson is a pretty good d-man, everything is under control when he’s out there.

Hurtig seemed fine for the maybe 8 minutes of ice he got.
