Honzek - you can tell he benefits from a more structured game. I really like his positioning. He is a low event player, but I don't think that's a bad thing
Gridin- he is dangerous with the puck. Lots of offense. He forces passes a little toomuch but that could be a familiarity issue.
Parekh - wow is that guy skilled. 100% a player you want holding the puck. A few defensive warts but his skating and hockey sense should make short work of that.
Morin - not as skilled as Brz or Parekh but damn is this kid a 200ft guy. Great plays both sides of the ice. Great first pass.
Ciona - love everything about this guy. All heart. A killer forechecker, a tenacious back check. 4th liner, but a dog!
Mews, Battaliga, Misa, Basha - Heaps of skill. That said, they are not ready to play against men.
Ignatjew - played great again.
Liang - a project player, great size, good iq, needs to skate better
Lipinski- I really love his habits, but his stride is not NHL calibre.

One of the scouting videos on Parekh really highlighted how he got so many primary assists last season by specifically putting the puck into tippable spots for his forwards.
I've noticed that skillset in these games. He has a great shot obviously, but a lethal shot-pass too by the looks of it.
Definitely has a knack for getting his shots through
Really like the look of these prospects. Seems like a good mix of players. Feels like the flames have quite a few players with size and speed along with some decent offensive ability. Great to see that early on in the rebuild as those players can take a while to re ch their potential. Having in them in the system early hopefully means at least a couple of them develop to be NHLers that can compliment the core forwards of the team that are still going to be drafted over the next few drafts.
Something tells me Sam Morton is going to make a hell of a case to earn a spot in preseason. Not saying he'll get it right away, but won't be surprised to see him make the NHL roster this season.

100%. This is the guy I walked away thinking that has a chance to make the big team out of camp. Even if he doesn't make it I think he will be first forward called up. I think a few of these kids could be regulars by season end but Morton looks ready now.
