I think Rachel runs away with this game. Clean sweep no votes for anyone else.

If she can get Sam out, I think that's a sure lock, same as if he does. If they are both in the Final 3, then I think Rachel takes...75% of the votes.

After all that Teeny still gets it wrong and votes for Sam! I thought she finally got one right until they showed the votes. She is probably the worst final 4 player in history...so somebody will take her to the end.
Sam needs to win the final challenge or its over. Either way Rachel probably wins fire. Probably 80-15 Rachel/Sam for the win.

The big question coming out of last week’s Operation: Italy shocker is how everyone would react to Andy flipping. As expected, there was a rainbow of reactions. There was confusion (Teeny: “Andy is better at this game then we all thought, or we are worse than we all thought”). There was anger (Sue: “Andy freakin’ flipped, so right now I want to rip Andy’s head off his freakin’ shoulders”). And there was at least one person who was super impressed with Andy’s move… ANDY! (“This is the coolest move anyone’s ever f---ing done” ).
The other big pre-challenge news was Rachel telling Sue about her immunity idol so that Sue would finally stop digging by the water well. Was this just because Rachel could no longer stand Sue getting dirt all over her face? Who’s to say?
Andy goes from jury management to the jury

As soon as I saw the first challenge out in the water, I got super excited. Not only excited to see a water challenge, but excited for the host to bust out the most underrated of Probstisms — “Bring in the boat!” (Although, it would be funnier if he stuck with “Come on in” while in the ocean and then had to just awkwardly stand there by himself because none of the contestants could hear him from a mile away.)

When I saw the challenge ended with a Survivor logo puzzle, I considered it a done deal for Rachel.
BUT NO! This time it was Genevieve
I will say this: I thought the jury’s reaction to Rachel’s idol play and Andy’s exit was very telling. And it wasn’t just mild-mannered Caroline letting out a “F--- YEAH!” The jury as a whole looked ecstatic. Sure, we can chalk some of that up to an exciting Tribal Council move, but we certainly didn’t see that same excitement last week after Operation: Italy. Their reactions here were a pretty vivid display of how they felt about both Andy and Rachel in this game.

Like this second challenge. Was there any reason for the players to run in from the ocean and dig through sand to get under a log before starting the final stage? Absolutely none whatsoever!
Pretty much the second Rachel won immunity, I said out loud to no one in particular, “Sam needs to tell them Genevieve’s idol is fake.” This did not make me a Survivor mastermind. It was the obvious and only play. The only question was, would they believe him?
As we went to Tribal, the question remained what the trio would do. And that question still appeared to be open even when they got there, with Teeny and Rachel disagreeing on whether they should all load up on Genevieve or spit the vote.
After the voting, Genevieve revealed the idol was indeed fake, and Sue then played her idol, which probably didn’t make as big a splash as she hoped. Because the main headline was that Genevieve was finally gone, voted out 3-2.

Thought it was a great episode last night, Rachael is the clear winner unless she cant win the fire challenge if she doesnt get immunity again.
Teeny and Sue are the carry-ons for the final 3, they wont get a vote. Not even sure Sam gets a vote.

Not caught up I have to watch a week behind on paramount, but holy crap that tribal where Caroline went home was amazing. One of the best moves in years. Saved an otherwise pretty boring season. And just exploited how weak that “under dog 5” alliance is.

Well done. Good on Andy. Even at tribal you can see the realization on his face that inside that final five he was the bottom, he knew it before and that confirmed it.

Very happy with the result.

btw, checked out the auction items, sure would be nice to buy something small for something kinda cheap, but everything is getting pricey with still 9 days to bid on the items.

Well that shouldn't be a shocker to anyone although I thought Sam had a great final tribal. Way better than I expected

I'm just glad the final tribal didn't decide the season. Hate when that happens. One finalist was clearly better than the rest, glad the other players recognized that.

One crazy thing tonight was the fire challenge. Teeny got screwed over so bad, her fire was massive but then the wind took it sideways while 2 feet away Sam's fire was going straight up. Such terrible luck, she deserved to be in the final 3 by winning that.

Hope we get a few more villains next season. Too many nice players. Easy to cheer for, but makes the show less enjoyable.

Well, that was a pretty good finale, all told. Went about how I expected it to. I did think that Sam would get 1-2 more votes than he did, especially with that Final Tribal. He did really well there.

I am always amused that the carry to the Finale never sees it, and always thinks that they were playing an awesome game. Though I think that Sue did figure it out about halfway through, when folks just outright stopped asking her questions.

SurferguyIs the Grand Champion! He gets to horde the entire CP Survivor pats on the back and attaboys!
Picked Rachael on both sides!

Great final, I thought that Sam may have swayed a bunch of the jurors, but Rachael was the hands down winner. That final challenge was epic!

Every season it boggles my mind that people don't walk into survivor having practiced building a fire, using that exact scenario, to the point that they are automatic. You know it's a possibility, you know what the challenge is going to be. You can even determine the height of the string. You can replicate it all exactly. There's no reason not to walk in knowing exactly how to do that.

That being said, that was the best fire making challenge ever.

Survivor Cook Islands had the best fire making challenge ever for all the wrong reasons.
