Treliving proving to be the smartest guy in the room! Trades a 2nd for a 2nd next year AND the last pick in this year's draft. Building draft capital!

Least surprising trade ever. Brad grabs an extra 7th round pick. Build it out Brad.

Has a team ever done the draft before the cup parade? NHL needs to get scheduling in order

Can fault the week off between the semis and cup final, plus the extra travel days and it going to game 7

Shades of Kylington IMO.

You know the 2nd next year will be traded for a 3rd and a 6th. You can book that trade now.

Kylington is not the most accurate comparable, although he dropped like Kivi's dropping now. Kiviharju's biggest strengths are his elite hockey-IQ and passing, and the reason he's dropping must be with his size and skating issues (not a fast skater). I don't know who's the best comparable, maybe Adam Fox, but he's not a jerk.

Why are things taking so long? I believe this is always tue case. Has no one looked at streamlining processes? Or was that done already by telling teams not to waste time on congratulating Florida yesterday.

I feel like picks being swapped shouldn’t reset the clock.
