Mark stone will win the award again this year for most animated facial expressions in the NHL. The guy has a weird face for every goal, penalty, win or loss.
Not having to go to the free throw competition was almost as good as the actual win! Now to switch gears for tomorrow as we watch a tired Vegas obliterate the Oilers with yet another backup goalie.

Why are we looking at HF oilers at all after a flames game ? Couldn’t care less what loser oilers fans think. They make up their own delusional reality and always will. An oiler fan calling a flames depth player a nobody? Other than Derek Ryan I couldn’t name an oiler on their third or fourth line.
I think they just aren’t familiar with the concept of a ‘team’ where more than three players contribute.

I haven't looked tonight but anytime they get upset or cry during Flames success always brings me joy because of how smug and cocky they've been over the years. I will NEVER get tired of seeing Oiler fans unhappy.

The Flames "W" tonight basically symbolizes their entire history. Team is complete ass, give up tons of breakaways, odd man rushes and none of it matters because you always got goaltending back there stopping everything. Vladar made about six stops tonight that the Oilers just don't get, and a couple posts to help out as well.
Of course the flames also get their scripted PP leading into OT (this happens everytime I watch the Flames) and lol vegas break two sticks on the PK already down a man and somehow Flames don't score. But then score with 4 secs left because the SC champs dont' even bother winding out the OT properly.
bleh. Mostly I was doing work around the house but watching some of it. I should never watch a flamers game.
of course the worst result, a 3pt game, and the worst being the Flamers get the two points which doesn't help the Oilers in any way imaginable.
One point in 2nd period Coleman compltely levels a Knight with a hit from behind, the guy doesn't even have the puck, its a penalty to us any day of the week but the Flamers telecast talking bout how good Coleman is when he's mean. How about that should've been a braindead penalty? course not, its Calgary. This is just what the Flames are allowed to do any game. On the same shift Coleman screaming for an opponent penalty. Same shift. With his #### eating grin you've all seen before.

Great game overall from Weegar tonight, aside from the big giveaway where Vladar bailed him out. He was all over the place tonight. You see a game like that from him, and then think about how he almost called it quits on his pro career when he was in the ECHL.
I am happy Vladar had a great showing tonight. I really think he needs to play more. It's hard to get into a groove and stay loose when you are always coming in cold. He definitely has the skills if he can get consistency.
