Just about every team could use a Hanifin, Tanev or Zadorov. They are incredibly valuable.
Toss Lindholm and possibly Markstrom if he continues to play well and a team needs goaltending.

This could be a really good jump start to a rebuild the pieces brought back from all of those pieces combined with 2 top6ish first round picks.

Get the Leafs first rounder and Klingberg and make sure Brad remembers he never protects against his picks being lottery picks because they are going to make the playoffs. That Leafs team I saw tonight is not a slam dunk for the playoffs.

Try to get a couple more 1sts for Lindholm and Hanifin along with whatever other pieces you can snag. See if there is a market for Tanev. Maybe end up with an additional 5-7 picks by the end of the year and maybe a prospect or two. Pick up some bad contracts over the summer for more picks/prospects and see what you have at the end of 24/25.

This news from Big Z is a good thing. Hopefully forces their hand for the other decisions that should take place this year.

It actually is not the first time I have said I am not an insider. I do know some people that work in the market, that's it. I am not working the phones around the league or I would have a cool job with a network and a bunch of social media pages by now. He's not a top 4 when you consider playing defence, which the position is literally named after. But yes, his offence is really good when very sheltered, which is what I said. You just have to be careful not to weight it too heavily with a position that is based on keeping possession out of the zone and pucks out of the net.

The Flames need more of guys like Zary, Pelletier, Coronato, Pospisil up front. The youthful enthusiasm has been desperately needed. Clearing out the entire lot of the old guard save Weegar, Huberdeau, Backlund, Coleman and Kadri is exactly what this team needs. You need higher quality vets to guide the young guys moving forward.

I appreciate that, as there has been an influx of "what I'm hearing" posters in the last couple of years. I like any potential info discussed, but I just like to know insider vs I hear things vs I make things up, as I'll weigh what I'm hearing based on that. Still really appreciate your info.
