I must have missed an important memo. What’s the deal about doughnuts?

I'll take credit for this win, as this it was literally the first time in my life I have ever made a sports bet against the Flames, and lost. I guess I know what I need to do going forward. PPG Zary makes me happy. What a fun player to watch and really has brought energy to the team. Very happy to see management not only bringing young players up, but putting them in positions to succeed. Love the comments by the panel that Zadarov seems to be a guy that wants to drag the team into games. It shouldn't be his job, but someone has to do it. Didn't like his elbow though, although it seems to be flying under the league's radar for now. Feel bad for Huberdeau and good to see most people here supportive of him. But at the end of the day, he's paid handsomely to perform and hasn't been. Something has got to give at some point, whether he breaks out one day, or he finds a new team to play for.

It was 3 at the time that comment was made; the Arizona game hadn't ended yet.

Especially against the U.S.-based teams. I'm not certain there is a fan base down there that is obnoxious enough to enjoy their schadenfreude afterward.

I know. I thought there was something prompting it.

except for Honey Cruellers and Apple Fritters. Those always get left in the box or are the only ones to pick up if you come in late to work.

Always. Everywhere. All at once. There’s no contest, really.

Their light, fluffiness lulls the eater into thinking they are eating something healthy. Healthiest of doughnuts, that is. So healthy, you can have more than one!

The actual doughnuts (chocolate glaze, maple dip, long johns, spinkle, etc.) are always the first to go at most places I've worked at. And if you show up to a Tim Hortons too late, these are also all gone and you only have Crullers, Bear Paws/Fritters, Chocolate Cake, Plain, etc. left in the display case as nobody wants these.

I don't understand places where they are the most popular because that can't be the case from what I see and we have a Timmies directly on the +15 of my buildling.

Beware to gaze not too deeply into the randomness should the randomness gaze back into you.

And embrace the Honey Cruller.

You wise.

And I wish I could. Haven’t had a TH doughnut in a decade, probably. Although if a maple pecan danish presents itself as available, it is a completely different ballgame and I’m too weak to ignore it…
