I think the 3 year absence is a pretty huge deal.
Rhett was talking about the surgery, and how with cartilage replacement you can't actually do anything for a year. So the rehab actually only begins way into the healing process.
He figured the only other player who might have a shot at doing a 3 year recovery and coming back as an actual player would be Iggy.
