That's the one that came to my mind as well. I didn't actually walk out, but it was so cringey and if I wasn't with a group of people, I would have left.

It actually funny because my friends went and saw that movie on a night I had a soccer game and they left.

And I've never seen it.

I have twice walked out in the middle of a movie. I can't remember either one but the reason for both was fire alarm. The first one I was a young kid and my dad took me to see a movie and the fire alarm went off. We got to go back but they kept the movie running and we had like 30-40 minutes of missed film and couldn't figure out what was going on. I remember my dad being mad that they wouldn't provide refunds or tickets for a future time.

The 2nd time my wife and I were at a theatre that no longer exists in West Ed and the fire alarm went off. We just left and didn't bother to wait and come back or get a refund.

Almost walked out of The Last Jedi twice - first during the "mom joke" and then when Leia uses the force to fly through space after her ship is blown up. I remember looking around to see if anyone else was rising out of their seat. Stayed for the visual effects and hoped it would redeem itself somehow, horrible horrible memories though.

Also, anchorman 2 was probably the cringiest movie experience I've ever had. Walked out of that one and don't remember much of anything from it.

The only time I recall walking out on a movie was From Dusk Till Dawn.

I had no idea what the movie was about and didn't realize it was a Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez collaboration. I took a girl to go see it on Valentine's Day. I thought, oh a George Clooney movie... sounded like a romantic movie title.

Anyway, she hated the movie and we left. Never really talked to her after that either and she was kind of cranky about the whole experience.

Personally, I like the movie though.

I also slipped on the ice when we left and there was a Bounce drier sheet sticking out my pant leg. Pretty much everything went wrong that night lol.

I've actually never done that, but "The Last Jedi" and "The Rise of Skywalker" walked that line and would have been more than worthy picks.

Close shave on Tenet. Tried to leave but couldn't get through the turn stile the right way.

Like I said earlier, I've never walked out either but 'Rise of Skywalker' was really pushing it.

I will say that it was the first time I've been in a theater watching a movie and I was checking my watch...

"Is this crap almost over yet??"

I should have walked out of The Last Jedi simply because the sound was screwed up in the theater. It was almost like the theater was telling me "this is crap. Take this voucher and see something else."

The Star Wars fan in me ignored that sign and sat through that steaming pile.

You’re still waiting to be impressed? So sad it was Connery’s last film role.

I think it was called The Lighthouse with Willem Dafoe.

It takes a lot for me to walk out at the theater and that is the only one I could think of. My wife walked out of The Northman, I stayed and loved it though.

Plenty of movies I have watched at home and just shut off- Everything, everywhere blah blah blah comes to mind. That was awful. Can't imagine sitting through it if I went to the theater.

True story - I saw Alive while flying over the Andes. Could not walk out of that theater.
