Bad result and honestly Canada didn't deserve any better. They played with no desperation today and got a result that they deserved.
The game was pretty fun but after a season of the Flames losing and the Wranglers being eliminated last night, I'm in a pretty sour mood.
Still, the tournament has been a blast and I am super happy that I came to see it in person. Hopefully the Canadians improve their play and challenge for the gold.
Now we're off to eat steak and lick our wounds on the last night in Riga.

Yes I said earlier that we had a weak line-up but we don't have Swiss League level plugs like Switzerland does and the 3 NHLers they added should not be enough to make up for that level of crap.

Yes really. It wasn't an insult to them not sure why you are taking it that way.
Hischer and Fiala are good players no doubt not the kind of players that should carry a team full of Swiss League players to a win over NHLers.

Like, instead of falling down and clogging up the crease area preventing your teammates from getting there because your 6'8" frame is now in the way, go to your right, make it physically hard for the guy in front to make a play, tie up his stick so he can't take a pass, anything really, is better than the play he made lol

Fiala is the best player on either team, by a mile. And for a team full of NHLers, Canada doesn’t have much talent. Look at their goaltenders.

I would have preferred a stronger sentence - like a full year from international hockey.
