I believe Wolf will be with the Flames full time by the middle of the season. I think that's likely the plan.
Me too. These are just some of the hoops you have to jump through when other GMs know you need to make a deal. No different then when Thedore was playing in the minors for the first month in Vegas's first year. Every GM knew they had to make a move, no one lined up at the start of the season to help them out. These things sort themselves out. Being able to easily yo yo Wolf gives the Flames more run way.
It irritates me to no end that Sigalet still has some sort of say over our goalies in Calgary.
Also, I reiterate my position that it is mind blowingly stupid to not make room for Wolf on the NHL roster day 1. The reason for this is entirely focused on the relationship with Wolf. We are already talking about another potential superstar who is US born and raised having to re-sign multiple contracts with the club. This is the type of player you take down barriers for. Leaving them in place and making him jump through hoops when we've already seen him do backflips through them just gives him the impression that we don't believe in him enough. Totally foolish.
Agree about Sigalet although i don't know what a good goalie coach looks like. But I'm not sure we have a top notch goalie dept. Labarbara on the fan960 recently was underwhelming. When asked what his summer looks like in terms of coaching the goalies, he said he likes to give them a month or two off and then starts working with them. Didn't sound like he was hitting the goalie clinics hard to find new methods etc.

Well, that just proves the point. Vegas! Bunch of ignorant bums. What do they know about running a hockey team, anyway?

Or Markstrom? If Vladar is playing good why do we want to trade him?
- Unlike Markstrom, Vladar doesn't have a no trade clause.
- Vladar makes less and is younger. Not every team that he would consider waiving for has the space to add a 6M goalie.
- It might be more beneficial to Wolf to build a relationship with Markstrom like the one Markstrom and Vladar have. Not that Vladar would be a dick to Wolf but I think Markstrom is well aware what the plan is for Wolf and would be more open to help him get settled into the league before he leaves.
Keep it to yourself dude, you know she posts on here? Or at least she used to, can't imagine why she might've stopped.
Are we suppose to like her play by play because she posts on CP? I'll like here posts if there good but she's not good at play by play, she should move to color because she does understand the game.
