I'm still sour about Colorado getting Rantanen in the 2015 draft one spot ahead of the Panthers. He's my hometown guy, played for TPS and I knew he was a beast. IIRC Dale Tallon tried to trade up to get him but Sakic was asking for Matheson who at that point looked like a future top pairing guy. Then Tallon went full dinosaur and used the pick on Lawson Crouse lol.

I always like seeing Eberle have success since he got out of Edmonton. He's another player that was so good when young but just got trashed by that franchise. I hope both him and Hall are playing well after Edmonton is eliminated.
