His shoulder hit him straight in the head. Either they want to reduce head shots and concussions, or they don't. Apparently they don't.

What is the ruling on that type of play? I thought initial contact to the head is off grounds? That was clearly head first, but in fairness, the Devils player is leaning down with his head first. Not sure what to think? Trouba is also taking advantage of a vulnerable player.

Man he really targeted the head there on that last replay. Wasn't looking at the chest or shoulder at all.
Amazing hits like that are still legal, according to the refs tonight. Guy is KO'd on the ice.
