I’m starting to think 6 million dollars could be much better spent than on Markstrom. Guy has been a lousy goalie more than a great goalie in his time in Calgary.

$5.25M on Lucic
$11.25M on useless hockey players this season. Hard to overcome that, especially with $6M of that in net.
…could easily throw in Mangiapane’s $5.8M as well.

I think it's honestly fair to say that Markstrom has singlehandedly cost the Flames close to 10 points already this season

So how long does Sutter want to keep stunting the offensive production by not having Hubby okay with Lindholm/Toffoli, and not giving forwards from the farm a shot?
