the teams terrible shooting percentage is part of being "out goalied" every game too
Flames had point blank chances in OT and shot it right at him

Also, easier to be a goalie when you don't have to deal with man advantage situations

The reffing sucked, but the narrative of they're the reason the Flames lost is just a bit much. It's hockey, you'll get some calls, you'll lose some calls. It's just how it is.

Really disappointing our soon to be 10 million dollar guy is visible for 1 shift every 5 games. Gonna be a long 8 years if that continues to be the case. Huberdeau has to be injured to be this bleh.
Did you watch a different game?

If Lindholm finishes his chances he has a 3 assist game and 2 points.

Be interesting to hear from the team and Sutter tonight. The no call on Markstrom still baffles me. It happens just before the final buzzer so you can literally talk it out and make the correct call. The Flames don't even attack Cizekas because its that obvious of a call and they know its going to OT and they still don't call it.

Let's also keep in mind that they are basically playing with 4 defensemen, and each of the last two games have gone to OT. It's been a tough go, and they are playing well.
The strength of schedule is also hardest in the league...record of opponent so far is absolutely ridiculous and the next two games only add to that #1 ranking

That means it gets "easier" down the road but not gonna lie it feels helpless when you are playing two teams every night

Sad but this seems to be the case.

Sutter needs to make a big deal out of this. Embarrass the league and instil the "nobody wants us to be here" mentality from 2004. Because that is exactly what we saw last playoffs and now this season.

How much worse can it get than 46 shots and not one pp?

Not concerned at all. Hope they keep playing this way. Wins will come.

They dominated most of the game, pretty unfortunate to lose

Was there even a replay to confirm it was Coleman's stick? All I heard is some say it might have been.

Coleman himself was also hauled down in the slot with a grade A scoring chance

I'd say it's easier to miss high sticks in a scrum compared to infractions in-person playing the puck, but what do I know.

I still think the room is coming out of the sick that is running rampant in Calgary and area right now. Pretty sudden drop in play last week and tonight looked much better even if not where they were. Explains the minutes played too. Just a guess based on how many teams I Know that had it decimate their locker rooms locally lately.

Cizikas did this to Chicago's goalie 5 days ago and got kicked out. Tonight nothing.
