I have distinct memories of this as well.

Just checked the boxscore. I see Jacob has picked up right where he left off.

Guys, Tampa is 0-4, Buffalo is 4-1 & Seattle are a period away from being 5-1. These games are meaningless.

not a surprise vet heavy teams suck in pre-season and younger teams are better. Younger players more motivated to make an impression

They should show these Sutter on the farm segments during intermission instead of those ear-violating trivia games.

It's common knowledge that veteran teams take the first 10-20 games of the season to work out the kinks, get into game shape and get going. why we are complaining about preseason is beyond me.

Yep, take Vladar for example. If he plays hard in preseason maybe Sutter goes to him earlier. But if he half-asses it Sutter wouldn't be impressed and would just stick with Markstrom as long as he could.

Vets know when the season starts. They dislike even playing any games.

Tampa has lost every game this preseason. I’m certain they don’t give a rats ass

Veteran teams and players just want to get through this healthy for when the real games begin

Bowness is very upset. Sutter just shrugs with his hands in his pocket.
