I expect to see a lot of Zadorov jersey's next year, he's already become a fan favourite and this interview will only make fans love him more. Glad he's a Flame.
"I never had a coach who was able to explain so many things that can make me better" - Zadorov on Sutter
Yeah he mentioned even more than this and it's clear how appreciative he is of Sutter being his coach helping him in everything from positioning to the mental side of the game. Sutter's the absolute best.

The Zadorov interview was a wonderful palette cleanser after the really tough news over the past day or two. It almost made me choke up after hearing him talk so positively about playing here. The Gaudreau departure really can make you down on the team and environment but Zadorov reminds us that there are lots of guys who love the idea of being here with our passionate fans and desire to win.
Thanks Z.

Man he's a beut.
No one commits to him....he floats around for a bit....lands here...people dissect him and Sutter walks in.
Getting a player who wants to learn, improve , play more and get some respect and now he's doing it all . I loved loved loved the BIG Z before he suited up here as I saw pure potential.
I'm glad we saw the potential because this guy deserves everything right now. He's been like a sponge picking up and absorbing his assignments and delivering.
You can tell his mentality has changed and improved. I'll never forget his presser last year along side Coleman....saying he wasn't Power play material but that he played top 4 in Chicago silencing the reporter who asked him where he figured he deserved to play.
At the time I though that was a little funny and slightly weird but Zadorov has backed all of it up with performance and little talk.
The biggest difference is even he said he wasn't really coached properly on zone exits and all his previous coaches questioning that.
It seemed like simple fix too....thank God for our coaches who were willing to spend Time to help.
Hanifin, Anderson, Stone have all made huge improvements .
Having Mackey now and Tanev , Weegar it appears the sky is the limit with these guys. I just hope injuries don't factor in at any point like they did last year but that's the sweet thing about our depth....dudes a great Flame.
Zadorov mentioned that he's hoping for a couple of more moves.
Him and Kadri are former teammates and follow each other...
This to me is everything. He signed up with us again AFTER he knew all the talent we were shedding this year and his reasoning was that he's never had a coach like Sutter before and players that are like family.
You can see what a guy he is in the Russian behind the scenes video for the Flames from last year and he kept talking about how Sutter won two Stanley Cups.
In interviews, he was also identified as the funniest player in the room.
