How is Helm still in the NHL?
And more importantly, how did Holland not sign him?

A late PP is brutal as it guarantees a stoppage of play and a powerplay to start a period is almost always a mess it seems.

Lots of time left, they can still pull this out. But if they don't I can't even be mad. A tired team putting in a good effort..........all you can ask for. An extra day or two of rest and the Flames are leading this game right now, not the other way around.

Very little doubt, Kuemper is getting a shutout tonight.

Flames will probably win the division with 32 of their 82 games being part of a back to back scenario. Bodes well for the playoffs when there are no schedule advantages

They were thrown into the fire by the schedulers but it's good practice

Well, the refs weren’t able to hang on for their shutout. Will Kuemper still hang on for his?

I sure would have taken down by 1 going into the 3rd period before the game.

So proud of the guys for this effort. I sure hope the schedule allows for some rest after tonight.
