Too bad, an inch from being fine if Kylington stopped later, or if Lindy dragged his foot.

Yeah right. If the Jets do that youre calling for no goal

Kylington did the Theo Fleury thing that drove me nuts, making a move at the line.

Such a stupid rule anyway. It should be the front edge of the line.

offside is the stupidest rule in sports, whether it be soccer or hockey

I think that play was the definition of what Sutter was referring to with the “can’t pass the puck into the net” comment a day or two ago

If lindholm drags his leg, or if Kylington pulls the puck back an inch or two later, it’s easily onside.
Neither does and it’s offside by an inch.

One of those rules where the letter of it defeats the spirit of the rule itself tbh. When you're talking about centimeters what the fk does it actually matter, it's not a real advantage when it's so fkin close you need to go frame by frame

Yeah, but only because the challenge exists.
It shouldn't IMO. Ruins the organic flow of the game when you erase an entire shift or a rush that's beautifully executed.
Should just come down to the eyes of the linesmen. That goes both ways.

Completely over? The puck on the blue line counts
