Flames are out-playing, out-chancing, and out-shooting the Kraken. Not sure we are out-working them though. Kraken are battling hard, especially in their own zone.

It's good for the team. Time to see if they can stick to the game plan and play for the win!

I bet they will!

I can't tell if Seattle is giving it all, or the Flames are playing down to Seattle. I suspect it is the former, but it is a little annoying.

Everyone just seems a little off tonight. Passes are a few inches off where they should be, guys are a little out of position in set plays and breakouts, everyone is bobbing the puck a bit.
Just one of those games.
Still in the game so there's no need to panic.

What's strange is they started this game where they left off too. Looked like they were going to blow this one wide open like all the others.

We aren't cycling.

I'm pretty sure the Kraken have the edge in o-zone time.

Alright, we made sure everyone saw Elliotte's bald spot in the first intermission, now we can have everyone back at the normal desk.

I would be fine with a 3-1 win and an EN goal.

Mostly just Grubauer standing on his head. Flames have been generating plenty of chances and should be up at least a couple. Sometimes the opposing goalie just has a great game.

Flames have been a little sloppy tonight, but I don't think they're playing down to their opponent at all. They're outshooting and out-chancing them by a pretty wide margin. But the Kraken are also playing hard and hanging in there. Flames just need to bear down and score a greasy one to win it.

Actually that makes sense now, he was more confident because he wasn't in the bald cam.

Thanks. I have a 6-year old climbing all over me tonight. It's been hard to actually pay attention.

Seattle's breakouts have been very effective tonight. They were better than most of the teams we've faced lately. That's why we didn't have as much sustained pressure as we usually do.

I'm pretty sure they will address that. Also it feels like once they get one, they will follow it up with another couple in the next couple of shifts.

Finally, I thought that Sutter is playing the Hanifin - Andersson pairing slightly less tonight. Perhaps he is managing Hanifin a little if he's banged up. Maybe it's just the lack of special teams play, but it seems like the D are very even with the Tanev pairing getting the majority of the work.

Have the Flames had a PP at all tonight? I honestly can't remember.
