I'm not getting the point are you trying to make with this and questioning Neil Young selling his catalog?
Young took issue with spreading fake science misinformation, not questioning any moral issues.
That started the ball rolling. And the solution to that was to pull the episodes with the covid misinformation.
But clearly Rogan’s detractors - a great many of whom protested against Rogan being on Spotify in the first place - want more. They want his show gone because they feel they’re in a war against him and his audience.
As for the sex stuff, I just find it kinda ridiculous to act as though someone’s choice of streaming service is a high-minded moral stance when so many of the entertainers on every platform are scumbags.

I love Heavyweight, but I haven't listened to an episode since they went Spotify exclusive. I don't use Spotify for podcasts.
Only been one spotify exclusive episode so far, the two-part season final, but yeah I get it. Annoying shifting around podcasting apps, and Spotify's UI is trash.

Heavyweight is now gone from Apple podcasts, the app I use Pocketcasts ended with episode 40, and there have been 3 episodes since.

Can't stand spotify, half the time their site just doesn't even respond for me. Why someone would use it over apple or google or any of the other options is beyond me

Unchecked? They’ve removed more than 100 of his episodes. I doubt any but a handful of them even dealt in vaccinations or the pandemic, unless Dan Savage, Marc Maron, and Bill Burr were talking about those subjects years ago.
But enjoy Tidal. No doubt they take the moral high ground and refuse to include the catalogues of artists like Bowie, Led Zeppelin, and all the rest who had sex with doped-up 14 and 15 year olds.
I’m not talking about a comedian making a set. I’m talking about a person who happens to be a comedian recounting a story on his podcast in which he compared black people to apes, used the n word numerous times, and laughed at a rapist describing his rape.
And that’s not even bringing up is massive misinformation campaign which is actively hurting real people.
These are not the same things.

I do find it all amusing though. Surely people know that if Spotify cancels the contract, they will likely owe him the rest of his money, plus Rogan will just go elsewhere and get more money, and more followers.

The first clip makes him look really bad and I think it's what's been going around. The extended version shows him realizing it was a bad thing to say and he goes on to mention it was a positive experience.

Yeah it's definitely not a great look but people have to remember, he's a comedian trying to throw a comedic spin on it, and he's also high as a kite.
Since it's Joey Diaz he's on the podcast with, I'm guessing that wasn't even the worst thing said that day
