The show is just so excellent.

Edit, okay I'm confused, did they start boning and stop? I thought they were just getting going and there was no actual boning yet

Did anyone else have a super weird cut about 45 minutes in when Daemon was stumbling in to see Viserys after his adventurous evening? I thought it was my recording but crave seemed to have really weird glitch.

I dont really know what to say about this.
When thinking about Game of Thrones I try to analyze it as clinically thematically as possible.
That being said, while Daemon would have logistical reasons for bedding his niece, especially since this seems 'cool' in the GoT world, or at least not 'Taboo' there usually has to be reasons. I can conceive of a few...but they probably wouldnt hold to scrutiny.
Also this is a prequel. So...we already know that this is not going to end well.

What? That's really dumb. He didn't figure out she was a boss when she flew in on a dragon and confronted him at Dragonstone?
I think it makes sense if he realized that there was a decent chance sleeping with her might lead to his head on a spike, but I was under the impression that Daemon understood Rhaenyra pretty well and didn't think of her as the little princess anymore.

As much as I am enjoying this show, it's weird because I don't think I like any of the characters? They all seem like scumbags. It was pretty easy to cheer for the Starks in GoT but there really aren't many characters I'm sympathetic for here. Maybe Alicent? Rhaenyra is being taken advantage of but she's too stubborn to see it.
But I love it.

I like the show, but I don't love it like early seasons of GOT. We need to see more different places, more houses, and more going on than Kings Landing. It would be cool if there were other supernatural elements at play too. What is the Lord of Light up to these days?
