I’m not watching that video unless we get him.. want to keep the heartbrokenness to level 8 instead of level 10.

I'm with Heavy Jack, made it about two minutes in then decided it was going to hurt too much if it didn't materialize.

Keep the optimism up boys. If ever there was a time to believe in manifesting and bull#### like that it's now. Visualize eichel pulling on that red sweater.

I just watched it. Deciding not to watch until we get him is an excellent choice.

Somehow, someway, I suspect Connor McDavid has more awesome highlights than Phillip Danault or Sean Monahan.

It’s going to be #10. I can see it.

Monahan, Dube plus first round picks/prospects is a fair deal. Monahan, Mangiapane plus the same is a massive over payment.

I’d be okay with your plan. Would like to keep Mangiapane

I’d make a poll with different option deals and one option for stand pat.

Not different option deals. Permutations would be endless. keep it simple.
I'd go with:
What should the Flames give up for Eichel?
1. Anything. Whatever it takes. He's franchise material.
2. Not too much. We can't sell the farm or mortgage the future, plus he's got injury problems
3. Nothing, stand pat, he's not worth it.

This thread cracks me up. We have an actual neurosurgeon in this thread suggesting we be concerned over the surgery and the possible outcomes, then we have a ####ing podcast being held up as the standard for medical advice in this regard. I am so glad that this board doesn't make decisions about this hockey team or especially the health of the players. Experts should be ignored, while media types whose job it is to generate clicks, is the body of knowledge we should follow. Get real. There is a reason he hasn't been dealt. No one wants to assume the risk that the player is demanding teams take on.

No No...he’s fine. Each of the TWO goals he scored this season looked spectacular on the video.

Did you miss the part of the podcast featuring—wait for it...
... a neurosurgeon?

You mean the 31 Thoughts podcast with the neurosurgeon explaining why he recommended the surgery to Jack Eichel? I don’t understand.

Nothing funnier than someone ranting about biased opinions, by posting a laughably biased post themselves.

I'll take our local guy over a "guest" on a pod cast thank you. Because that's exactly what the Flames would do. Consult their local expert and NOT take the word of someone who may or may not be directly associated with the Eichel camp. This is a $50M ####ing investment people. Let the team deal with their experts and make the call. So far, every team in the league disagrees with assessment on the podcast. Shocking, I know.
