I hope so. That was fun to watch. Like another poster said, unfortunately it will all come down to pitching. Either we have it and it could be a special, fun season, or we don't and it will be a huge let down.

Definitely a huge question mark. Hopefully when Pearson is back he can take the next step. Thought Matz looked pretty good in ST so hope we can find some serviceable starters in the clubhouse somehow. A lot of ifs and hoping.
Just going to have to win a lot of 9-7 games lol.

I think that this season is almost house money. We knew that they were a year away atleast going into the off-season. That they had an off-season as good as they did (up until the injury bug) can't get us too excited. Next season though, oh I'll be so sad.

So Jonathan Davis makes the opening day roster. Meaning George Springer is out for the start of the season. Robbie Ray out the first week as well. Not the end of the world, but can’t wait to see what this healthy team will do.

So Kirk has made the Jays roster. I wonder if they carry three catchers or if Spanky Mcguire is going to be traded soon.
Also Mayza and Thornton have made it.

Should be noted that Roughned Odor will not be making the Rangers roster. So that officially ends the Jays vs Rangers chapter from 2015-17.
Good riddance to that ####bag. My last memory of him is pimping a HR against the Jays in 2019 when the Rangers were down by double digits. Glad his career fizzled out just like neck beard Sam Dyson, who is all kinds of awful off the field.

I think the outrageous amount of Just for Men in Bautista's beard resulted in most of the force from that blow sliding off Bautista's face. If not for the JB may have had a busted jaw and spent a year drinking dinner from a straw.

Liriano granted his release, he's now a free agent.
He actually looked pretty good, but Mayza was even better, and Bergen is already on the 40 man. Plus, even Snead looks like he might be a decent depth option.

Cohen apparently tweeted that the Mets offer to Lindor is 10 years $325 million. Supposedly Lindor wants 12 years $400 million.
Yikes.
Pretty glad the Jays didn't spend assets acquiring him now.

Opening day is always such a cool feeling. Can't wait. When the Texas Rangers play their first home series, they are allowing 100% capacity.
As brain dead a decision as that is, selfishly as a fan I'll check that game out to experience a real sports crowd for the first time in over a year.
