Just dominated them.
I feel like we dominated the vast majority of the series outside of the wierd Zac Rinaldo experiment. There were some sloppy plays in the first two games but that was to be expected given the time off. Now that they're all warmed up, I'm looking forward to playing some worthy opponents.

Congratulations to the Winnipeg Jets for being the first team allowed to leave Edmonton.

I haven't thought about Hamonic at all this series till you just mentioned him. Our D has been outstanding in this series

Everyone was basically good this game. I think that Gaudreau isn't playing particularly well, but he hasn't been bad. Giordano has not been his usual mistake-free God self, but I can't say he has been bad either.

Bennett is a monster. Dube just keeps getting better. Lucic was all over the ice making solid plays on that line as well. That third line is really difficult to play against.

A shout-out to Jankowski. He is starting to look like last season's Jankowski. He was great tonight in every zone, and he was passing the puck like a playmaker out there. Great to see him finding his game again after what has been an absolutely horrible season for him. Hope he keeps it up.

Talbot is sensational. So steady in net.

I don't even think that the Flames played a particularly great game over-all - but they were flying. I think there is still a bit of rust on this team, and with some additional practices, I look forward to this team getting to another level.

At least 4 more games of experience and learning what it takes to win. This team looks like a team that is hungry and confident. No passengers again tonight.

1st Star: Cam Talbot - Put up a donut against the guy who will win the Vezina this year. He's dialled in folks.

2nd Star: Sam Bennett - Hitting everything that moves, playing with speed, and cashing in with the backbreaking 2-0 goal. I like Playoff Sam Bennett.

3rd Star: Milan Lucic - Set the tone early and was making good plays all over the ice tonight. Even showed a bit of foot speed out there!

HM: Dillon Dube with about 10 shot attempts and he's putting himself in good positions to score. Opening goal early was huge.

Hanifin was quite easily our best defenseman that series.

Andersson a very close second

I think Wes Gilbertson is writing an article about how Geoff Ward has impacted the Flames, guys...

Full credit to the Jets though. The Flames still had to fight for every win despite Winnipeg losing two of their best forwards early. They have a lot of character down that line-up.

I thought Andersson's game today was the best of his career. He was sensational.

Ryan Leslie @SNryanleslie
The bad blood continued right to the end of this series as jets coaches didn’t shake the hands of the flames players.
