I’m just waiting to see one player put in the extra effort to make something happen this period. The whole 2nd period has just been the team going through the motions of playing scared/safe hockey. No one wants it.

Call me crazy but I'm thinking the Gio decline is happening right now. Sloppy penalties from losing a step on players. Forcing so many difficult plays that have low chances of succeeding. Hes just Los his mojo.
