Well, it DOES help if one actually shoots AT the net, not wide, over or into the goalie. Or just flubs the shot/pass altogether. So there's that.

People wouldn't be worried THIS game if we hadn't been awful for the past season

Powerplay Quarterback
Flames on 150 minutes and 3 seconds of scoreless hockey at the moment.

I mean they have a goal if the ref doesn't blow the whistle quick...they aren't getting any breaks right now

This, nothing dangerous at all offensively. Night and day difference the shot quality and scoring chances between the two teams even if we are leading by a fair margin in shots.

Refs blow that down everytime just about every player was in the crease even if we did score it would have been called back for goalie interference in sure

Okay Hockey Gods I’m not sure what we did to piss you guys off last season but we apologize for what we did.
If you could please return the skill and confidence to this hockey team that would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely Calgary Flames fans who have suffered for long enough.

Even before they announced Grubauer’s return I predicted he would get the shutout. Well, at least it won’t be a rookie getting his first shutout.

this Backlund line is getting its head caved in. Gaudreau looks ####ing horrible in this game yet again. Has he done one positive thing?

That's a trip every day of the week. Unintentional, but still needs to be called.
