Would be nice if Tkachuk played with someone on his line with an ounce of offensive ability. The amount of plays he makes that die on the sticks of Backlund and whatever other scrub is on that line depending on the day is frustrating.

When you have no other play, get it deep and see if someone else can do something. Pressure on pucks deep leads to mistakes. Mistakes leads to goals. It's a pretty simple game sometimes.

Uh, he outdueled Gibson, who might be the best goaltender in the world at the moment. He earned another start.

Talbot was actually quite good in the 1st period. A couple of weird ones early the 2nd and here we are. But he's been steady since.

Disagree. You take your win with a backup goalie and move on. That’s why they are a backup. If they could sustain their play on the regular they wouldn’t be a backup.
