Seems like every message short of that has been already sent to ownership & management, and has fallen on deaf ears every time. What message is there left for fans to send?

I am absolutely sick and tired of this team missing the playoffs outright or faceplanting in the first round year after year after year. Nearly three decades of utter futility, other than one run in a year when they weren't as skilled but played way over their heads. Obviously given the number of teams in the league your "fair share" of cups is about one per three decades, but we are so very far away from contending, and have been for decades, it's depressing. Losing four straight is pathetic, and shows this team simply can't adapt when faced with a more focused adversary than in your typical regular season matchup. At least last season they were true to type all year long. This year feels like an epic con job by comparison.

sure...Phil was a bum who couldn't get it done
Until he led the Pens in playoff scoring and won the cup when the other team just didn't have him to focus on.

I I was at the game, I did not like the jersey toss. It would have been more clever to throw that refs jersey on the ice. The number 5 ref that disallowed the 3-2 goal.
I am not convinced about replay, there really has been no improvement at all in the game from adding replay.

Guys who receive passes all alone in the neutral zone aren't creating anything.
Guys passing to guys flying the zone on breakaways are the one's creating.
He missed them all, FYI.

Nobody is saying Monahan, Tkachuk or Lindholm played well. They are saying Gaudreau did not contribute offensively, which he didn't. End of story.
Is it anybody elses fault that he missed on a penalty shot, or missed the net entirely on a breakaway? The only thing Gaudreau did consistently, is whine.

The guy is 5'6 150lbs who gets slashed every single shift. What the flying eff do you want him to do every night? He generates offense.
If you trade Gaudreau you can forget about playoffs and getting ready for lottery ball parties.

Problem is that we don't have a Crosby or a Malkin to draw the attention away from a Kessel.

Good think Peters recognized this and adjusted before it was too late.

The ####ing point is, he didn't generate any offence in the playoffs.

Your agenda against Gaudreau is embarrassing. Identifying opportunities to break the defence and creating a breakaway is creating nothing?
Fending off 2 Avs hooking him all the way to the net is nothing.
Jesus Christ you are an awful poster.

The first line was effective in game 5 in terms of Bennett creating space for Johnny. Monahan was still a giant waste of space.

Some thought Tkachuk was going to be the best player on this team. He disappeared completely after game 1.
The best defenseman in the league was game but really not close to a difference maker in this series.
They just got beat across the board except in net.
Hard to fathom really.

Did you even watch the series? He would have had a crap load more points if Monahan hit the net or even got a shot off. He flubbed every single one of them.

Getting out skated and out played since the start of the series told me it was too late

It doesn't send a message, you want to send a message, don't buy tickets, don't go to games.
Throwing jersey's is clown shoes and reminds me of a two year old throwing lego.
