Since everybody likes to look up a persons post history, you can see my comments after game 1.
I really admire peoples faith in the team, but I don't know how anybody can watch them play in crunch time and have any faith this team can win the cup.

Did you watch the Flames play in 1989....round one?

I didn't "say". I said it's possible.
With the effort we have seen thus far, almost a guarantee though.

He nearly won the game. Had it held, MacKinnon would be been nowhere to be seen on the scoresheet down 0-2.

Emotional? haha. Cute.
Things happen.
Flames let in the first goal of a series several periods in. It’s a bad bounce that happens to many players.
It’s a new season. Playoffs are, in fact, right now not going so hot for other teams. Loads of babies start yapping about their whipping boy Brodie (+29) like he is generally a problem
It is silly. That’s all. Recognized as such. At early hours and not emotional or overpoured
If +29 is garbage, I like garbage

Man, some of you people really need to step off the ledge. Maybe take a day off from your negativity tomorrow. Have a few beers, watch a movie, listen to some music, go for a walk...
Flames will be fine.

It's not a 40 game series so this isn't really relevant.

I don’t think the majority of fans think the flames will
win the cup. I know I don’t, I’m just hoping they do well in the post season for the future runs.
The top line is still a huge concern. They’ve been pretty bad for the last 20 plus games with the exception of a couple of games. We will only go as far as they take us. Even with out secondary scoring being good, the team still needs the top line to play like one.

Red, I sincerely hope you are 12 years old or under...otherwise you have some major issues. Flames played a ####ty game and lost (barely)
What is the point of throwing a tantrum?

Was at the game. Just got home. Better team won. They hemmed us pretty good in our on zone the entire night. I had a glimmer of hope when Sean scored but I was still on edge. I didn't like our game at all tonight. Like I said in my prediction, this series is going at least 6 probably 7. They'll rebound on Monday. Just out of curiosity how many mins did Mackinnon play? Looked to me he played a lot in this game.

Yep, if any player can do it, MacKinnon's the one.
This is from a Sportsnet article where a high-end trainer from the Penguins who trains a variety of elite players in the summer including Crosby and Mackinnon talks about having them do hill runs:
Quote:
The rest of the field started to tail off as the reps went on. By the fifth or sixth trip, the other campers were dropping a second or more behind their best times. MacKinnon, though, didn’t fade — he kept clocking 14.9, again and again, like clockwork. “Only on the last rep was there any change and it was 15 flat or maybe another tenth, barely anything at all,” O’Brien says. “That hill-running drill, it just shouldn’t work out that way. If your muscle composition is built for power you should fatigue more rapidly than the average and if your composition is for endurance, you shouldn’t be able to explode as well.”
