We steamed rolled them in the 3rd. Their goalie was fantastic. Could have been 7-3 easy.

He’s really gone up in my books!
4 great months doesn't cancel out 2 years of major suck unfortunately . Trending in the right direction for sure though!

Is this what overtime is like all the time? Brutal.

Bring on the salty tears of Oilers fans.

guess you havent been watching the Flames for longer thatn 2 years and 4 months cause there was a time when Brodie was incredible - then we hired GG played him on the wrong side and it was NOT good

I think of the two years I wasn't able to stomach looking at the CP boards because I KNEW GG was an inept talent-sucker of mega proportions, and I think of how well our boys are doing now.. And I am just so relieved to know it was always GG and never our boys- he did his best to fit a square peg into a round hole but so thankful for Peters. He is cool, chill, smart, large and in charge and he's a great smartass. Fantastic hockey IQ and was able to make the gold mine he inherited shine.. Love him.

Truly I became a Flames fans during the playoffs when Bob Hartley was coaching. That kind of hockey was fun! It's the kind of hockey that brings new fans. Glen Gulutzan hockey almost had me checked out. Boring boring boring hockey.

Peters has this team playing exciting hockey game, it's great to watch. I'll be thankful for Glen Gulutzan when he's head coaching the Oilers to new pathetic lows.

The 2 years of Gulutzan was the 2 years of major suck. I'm well aware of how Brodie performed under Hartley.

I hope they aren’t pumping Brodie’s value up for this off season.

Czarnik was absolutely flying in the 3rd with Backs and Chucky. Definitely deserves another look after having that many quality chances.

Work got insanely busy, and I was only able to watch the 1st period...I'll watch the rest tomorrow, and catch up with you guys, then. I am not surprised to see that Delia was solid, again, according to your posts. You have seen our future, in the net.

With the exceptions of 2004, 2015 and (hopefully) this season, it has been 30 years of major suck.

You know the team is having fun when comments like that come out! Love it. Great to hear they are enjoying themselves and competing every night. Love it. Tre truly is a wizard. Wow. This is night and day from the GG days.

Great win, fun team to watch every game.

I know Kane came into the league as a 18 year old and Johnny played his first game at 21 but still, I was surprised to see this stat below.

He’s also the 3rd leading scorer in his draft year behind only Kucherov (only player with better ppg) and Landaskog who has 200 more games.

Then you look at Monahan who is also the 2nd leading scorer from his draft and you start to see where this team has come from. Picking one of the top 2 player from drafts 2 years apart will do wonders for your team.
