And how do we have so much skill on this team, yet no one can score in the shootout? BSD did his job to say the least
Too many slow deke attempts. Easy to say but wanted to see more speed or just some shots. But yeah, great game. They had their chances and played great. Young team is going to learn from this.

Started the night with a 3 point lead in the Pacific.

Lose to the best team in the league and our lead is 4 points.

All good.

Two 2-0 losses where they didn't show up and he got peppered all night and a 3-2 game they also didn't show up for.

Pretty damn good when those are the regulation losses that come to mind.

Did I hear correctly on 960 that that was just the second time he's given up more than 3?

Your right. The rest of the team played great. It's just that I've lived close to Nashville for 11 years and my wife gets free tickets from her work to Preds games. I've been going to quite a few of these games for years.

I was pissed when we signed him. Honestly I've been watching and playing hockey for 40 years and I hated it. It's kinda one of those things where you love the team, hate the player.

I'm just gonna make one final statement - he is what he is. I will cheer for him as a Flames fan with all my heart, I hope it doesn't end up like I think it will.

I just hate it when it affects our team like it did tonight

You mean the half of the board who thanked you for such a ridiculous post?

Is he bad right now? Yes. Are the Flames better off without him? Based on the play of the other forwards who have been rotating into the lineup when someone is sitting or injured, no. Just because someone isn't your best forward doesn't mean that you automatically improve your team by sitting them, you need to have a superior replacement, which right now, the Flames just don't have.

Not comfortable with that meme anymore after what I watched earlier today about it and how it almost cost that guy his life.

Neal has been extremely disappointing as we all know, but with his history of being a goal scorer, and having scored 20 plus a season for many years now, you would have to think that he will be busting out of this soon. I'm sure no one is more disappointed than Neal himself.

I know Flames fans are suppose to hate Tampa Bay and a part of me will never get over '04 but goddamn that is a good hockey team and damn fun to watch. Unbelievable they have two goalies playing that well, screw them.

Flames had it. A couple of unlucky goals is what did the Flames in.

Beauty of a game.

Can someone tell these asshats that Dennis Wideman no longer plays for us?
You mean the goalie that was 14-4-0 ? He is now 15-4-0

Heading into tonight, the Flames had 2 games in hand on San Jose and 3 games in hand on Anaheim.

Thanks to getting 1 point along with the Sharks & Ducks both losing in regulation, we now have 3 games in hand on San Jose and 4 games in hand on Anaheim.

Not to mention Nashville lost in regulation, keeping them 1 point back of us with the same amount of Games Played.

Overall a great night!

Bennett with 2 points and a big hit against the top team in a tightly contested game.

That was playoff Bennett tonight.
