Pretty much every veteran slow burns into the season. I have concerns about Mike Smith's ability to stay healthy, but in terms of performance I don't see any reason to take anything from anything until the season starts.

Are you worried about James Neal who's been taking it pretty easy as a veteran? I bet not.

Hopefully the top 6 and top 4 play in all 3 cause a lot of them haven't looked even close to ready.

Hopefully Smith sees 2 of 3. He needs to sharpen up too.

Not worried about Smith aside from a potential long term injury. I am however concerned about the gap in the goaltending depth. I think there's a sizable gap we can fill between Smith down to Gillies/Rittich.
