Great finish by Monahan to end period. What I’ve seen is a little out of synch play, passes not connecting etc. However the defensive structure and Smith were there.
It’s not like either team is generating a ton.
PP hasn’t really looked too dangerous but not sure if ice bad or what. PK looks very good, denying entries etc.
Maybe if they play a little more direct, take pucks to the net they can get a greasy goal if the off the rush stuff isn’t connecting but all they need is just to get that rhythm and they could get a flow going.

I like the structure I'm seeing. A little sloppy in the execution area, but that's to be expected at this point in the year.
Liked the pushback in the second period (didn't see the first, but apparently only 3 shots).
Not driving the net as much as I'd like to see yet though.
