Who doesn't play well with Backlund and Frolik? Hell try Lazar out.
I have been asking to see Tkachuk with Bennett and Jankowski all season. I would really like to see more too.

Sure, but does Smith remind you of Turek?

I forgive Jonas Hiller for that second season. He was just doing the Flames a solid making sure they could draft Tkachuck.

Matthew is the real deal. It's so fun watching him play. The kid can turn a game In our favor in one shift. We finally have a piss ant player who can piss off the other team and can also put up points. I haven't seen that kind of determination from a Flames player since Fleury.

I didn't read the Game Thread but I am surprised no one mentioned that sunburn Burke was sporting.

He's been scouting a lot of Oiler games behind Talbot lately.

I thought that Bennett had one of his best games all year. I really like what that line has brought since getting called out by the coach. GG making a withdrawal from the "account" that has really paid off.

I am more and more impressed with Kulak's game. Very smart and rarely makes a glaring error. Really solid bottom pairing d-man.

Its amazing how much better Janko and Bennett play without Brouwer on the right side, they have much better chemistry with Hathaway.

Sorry to ask, but I couldn't watch the game tonight-I keep seeing the odd post about Burkie, was he at the Oilers game or something?

No, they showed a shot of him with Treliving during the game.

Remember when we thought Ryan Culkin was going to be better than Brett Kulak.

Bennett’s point was with Tkachuk

He didn't look good. Maybe elevated blood pressure.

Late to the party, but I thought the Flames played great. The power play actually looked competent tonight!

Tkachuk is awesome. After Gaudreau and Smith, I'd say he's been our MVP.
