Flames need to watch the last guy back on the pp when Gaudreau is the last guy skating in.

The way Bennett and Jankowski are playing together is so nice to see. As they grow together, having them on the 3rd line will be a huge strength for this team.

Jankowski's long reach and stick is such an advantage.

I thought they looked good. Just couldn't get any shots through.

If we were to take everyone off the powerplay that people seem to want to, we'd be seeing Freddie Hamilton and Brett Kulak along with Gaudreau and Monahan on the first unit.

So can we safely say Jankowski's floor has been moved to "solid third line centre"? The way he plays I don't see how he could fall below a dependable, big bodied third line guy at this point.

Really good road period outside of the Brodie pairing.

Imo, that was Bennett's best period of the season.

Didn't look "dangerous" at all though, pure perimeter with no real threatening chances. As a PK that's what you want to see

Good positional play by Washington but I like seeing us control and hold pay in the offensive zone, just keep it up. More tiring defending tha attacking!

No we wouldn't. Another passive aggressive Versteeg defence from you.

Agreed. I think he needs to add some strength to his frame and he will push for 2nd line centre in a year or 2

Well, outside of the first couple minutes, the Flames played a pretty solid road period. They looked right in there with the Ovechkins. I didn't once think that the Flames were outmatched, or outclassed.
