Not saying they didn't check with Frolik, but wouldn't GG have more say? He's coached him before, you think he'd have a good handle on things.

2014 Olympics, 2011 World Champs, 09 Euro Hockey Tour.
Frolik also played for Kladno, the team Jagr played for and now owns. Was there with him during the lockout.

CF.com posted an article about Frolik today -- this is what he had to say about Jagr:
FROLIK: Things change a little bit as you get older, of course. I've met him a few times with the national team over the years. You can see, yeah, that he's a little different. In a good way. What he does off the ice and in preparation for games is really interesting. You see what still drives him to play and play well. It's pretty amazing.
It was fun to see what works for him. Definitely cool to be in the same room and play together on the national team.

I want to see Jagr and Johnny together on the powerplay.
Better yet would be 3-on-3 if Jagr can keep up - Smith to Johnny to Jagr and win.
