Weird, it is letting me vote once per day for the Blackhawks but only once at all for the Flames.

The only proof of this poll being meaningless is the Leafs logo making it so far. Sure it is a cool looking maple leaf however any logo that writes out the name of the city and team loses massive points for me. The only reason it made the semi finals is because the Leafs have the most fans.

If they wanted an accurate logo ranking they shouldn't have made it an internet poll.

I'm not going to tell anyone they shouldn't care about this meaningless pole, because I was kind of invested in seeing us win too (although not enough to "stuff" the ballet box).
After seeing how the guy running this operates, I've certainly lost any interest.

I haven't voted for the flames logo for 48 hrs and just went to vote and it said I already voted, but it let me vote in the leafs/hawks poll. Pretty fishy.

Yes, when voting for the Flames or Wings it says "thank you we have already counted your vote". However, when voting for the Leafs or Hawks it says "thank you for voting". Seems like they have banned votes from IP addresses near Calgary in the Wings and Flames poll?

From Victoria and I was able to vote yesterday for the Flames but not today.
I've been a longtime fan of Icethetics way back when it was just the NHL Tournament of Logos.

I'm hoping Chris comes out after this round and gives a better explanation as to what was going on. If someone was using a bot or any other underhanded means I'd understand, but if they're suppressing Flames votes just because of this thread that's really weak.

And yes, it let me vote in the Maple Leafs poll but not the Flames. I live in Langley BC.

I may get roasted for this but I like the guy and enjoy the website. I have been following him since the lockout. I think he is a genuine hockey fan. I think where he made an error was not creating guidelines, not putting in mechanisms, and honestly not making it clear what the rules are. It is his website so fair enough.

That being said I do t think what happened here was wrong at all in the context of how the poll is set up. Hopefully this will change in the future to make it fair for everyone.

Wow, yeah he basically decided to rig the voting because of this thread. If he had just erased some votes then fine, but now he's straight up suppressing Flames votes.

If you're going that far just cancel the voting and proclaim your own winner. What the hell is the point of this polling at this point?

How ridiculous is it that a Flames message board gets together to vote for our favorite logo and it's so egregious that Flames votes aren't valid anymore, yet literally every teams fans in literally every team vote poll in the history of sports is shared with fans across social media to get more votes, including this one, for every team?

Is it just because we're a message board rather than facebook/twitter etc, or because one fan on the comment section noticed us and made a big deal?

I really fail to see any wrong doing here except "I don't think the Flames should have made it to the finals, so I'm going to change that". I used to love that site, but screw them now.
