I thought for sure it was going to OT so i stepped out and went to the beer store

Sour way to end a Cup Final as the Preds were robbed of a goal.

He's always been the best player in the league.

Flames beat Pens in one of the most satisfying wins of the season.

Should have been Malkin. Not surprised it is Crosby.

I agree that the season needs to wrap up sooner. I'd like to see some back to back action in the playoffs. It is hard on the players but they can pull through. I would also support a best of 5 first round followed by best of 7 for the remainder of the playoffs.

Oh I forgot Streit was on the team though he wasn't a regular, I'm happy for him and Hainsey at least.

Last year I didn't think it should have been Sid, but this year it absolutely had to be him.

This can't really be debated
I'd happily debate them playing without their best goalie. Murray would too.

Haha ok. I remember reading on your goalie thread who should be your next goalie...so many people on here were saying you could maybe get Murray. Like it was a possibility?

So yeah, maybe that guy was joking, I'm not an internet mind-reader like you...but take a look at your goalie thread. Quite a few Flames' fans seriously thought Murray was a possibility.

Once again hitting home that the Stanley Cup is the greatest trophy in sports, and this celebration is the best. Contrast it to the Super Bowl, where they erect a stage and an announcer presents a tiny trophy to the team owner.
